 ABOUT:

Ken Freeman learned the art of wood turning in 2007. Prior to his new found skill, he had been behind a desk for nearly 20 years in higher ed. His last stint was at Dartmouth College. He traded behind the desk and people work with behind the lathe and solitude. Having all that solitude, Ken needs his people fix; he loves interacting with people. He's often at the Burlington Farmer's Market and other art/craft shows selling his wares.

He turns wood into bed posts, table legs, rolling pins, lamps, balusters, porch columns, accent pieces (large and small). He can turn anything found in this blog. This blog is a curation of his work and found turnings on the internet. Also sometimes just the visual of wood alone in interior spaces. Ken believes wood warms up any home and turned pieces add interest to the otherwise straight lines.
